Choosing Your Web Host
As I talk about in the above video – you will need a hosting account – the one I recommend here http://hostwithhostmonster.com allows you to host up to 100 websites; this is useful especially if you have review pages etc and/or multiple web sites. It’s low cost with amazing support.
The most important thing to consider when choosing a web host is the reliability; obviously if your site is down – this can cost you money. The other thing to consider is customer support. I have used many hosts over time; I ultimately chose to use Hostmonster because they EXCEL with customer service and have 99% up time. It is very unlikely that your site will go down.
DOMAIN NAMES
The reason I avoid buying my .com domain names via Godaddy is because they are really tough with their anti spam rules. One spam report could have you shut down and it takes a long time to get back up. It’s not worth the drama. Namecheap and Hostmonster are great alternatives.
